In particular, according to our sources, in the case of noisy shootings that took place in Ajapnyak, as a result of which one person was killed, many of the participants in the incident and those related to it hardly leave the house, fearing that reprisals may be carried out against them. The situation is made more worrying by the fact that, according to our information, the person who fired the rifle has not been found.
In this context, perhaps, the instruction given by Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan a few days ago is not accidental.
On August 7, the Minister of Internal Affairs instructed the police leadership to intensify the work with persons in hostile relations in order to prevent and exclude further criminal manifestations.
Emphasizing that the number of serious and particularly serious crimes in the capital has decreased, Arpine Sargsyan nevertheless considered the crimes committed with the use of firearms to be a concern.
In fact, the law enforcement system is trying to take preventive measures to prevent the bloody incidents that have already happened from turning into a chain of new reprisals and mutual revenge.
Time will tell to what extent the strict instructions of the minister and the preventive work of the police will be able to control the situation and prevent possible vendettas."
