Ukraine should be allowed to attack Russian military facilities. Macro

French President Emmanuel Macron said at a joint press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at Mesberg Castle that Ukraine should be allowed to strike military facilities inside Russia from which missiles are fired at Ukrainian territory, but not at other targets. According to Macron, supplying Ukraine with long-range weapons capable of hitting Russian military targets inside the country will not escalate the conflict. Scholz said he agreed with Macron's sentiments, and as long as Ukraine respects the terms of arms suppliers, including the United States, and international law, Kiev is allowed to defend itself. Emmanuel Macron and Olaf Scholz also outlined the general outlines of their economic strategy for Europe, specifically calling for a European savings product against the backdrop of 300 billion euros being invested in American companies every year.
