Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports have resumed receiving and releasing aircraft after temporary restrictions imposed overnight due to a mass drone attack over Moscow were lifted, Rosaviatia reported.
The restrictions were in effect for almost four hours. Some of the flights were redirected to the airports of other cities.
The mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, said that since the evening of August 15, about 600 drones were flying towards Moscow and the Moscow Region. As a result of falling debris, three people were injured in the area of MKAD, they are being given medical assistance.
Emergency services are working at the places where drones and their fragments fall.
