US President Donald Trump suggested to his Democratic political opponents to nominate Kamala Harris, who lost in the 2024 elections, as a presidential candidate.
During a speech at the Nassau County Police Academy, the American leader noted that as vice president in former President Joe Biden's administration, Harris was, among other things, responsible for border control. "But he never went to the border, never called the customs and border protection service. Otherwise, he did a wonderful job," Trump emphasized sarcastically. "He was an excellent candidate.
I think they should nominate him again," the American leader added. Trump defeated Democratic candidate Harris in the November 2024 election.
