Both Russia and Europe are dissatisfied with Pashinyan. new developments. "People"

"Zhoghovurd" daily writes: "The foreign policy conducted by Nikol Pashinyan has brought Armenia to a situation where both pro-Russian and pro-European circles are already dissatisfied with him. In fact, both sides feel deceived. Relations with Russia are extremely tense. Moscow applies one economic restriction after another to Armenia, regularly banning or limiting the import of new products. The Russian side officially explains them with sanitary and other problems, but the periodicity of the restrictions already creates the impression of political pressure.

Added to this is the fact that after the June 7 parliamentary elections, Russian President Vladimir Putin did not publicly congratulate Nikol Pashinyan on the results of the elections. At the same time, Europe is not able to fully compensate for the possible loss of the Russian market. According to "Zhoghovurd" daily, clear impulses are being sent to Pashinyan from European circles: you have chosen the European path, therefore you should be ready for the price of that choice: deprivation, economic difficulties and sacrifices.

The European side is trying to alleviate the situation with financial allocations, aid programs, grants and loans, but they cannot completely fill the gap caused by the deterioration of economic relations with Russia. The situation in the new National Assembly is also noteworthy. When the opposition "Strong Armenia" faction, with a strong political move, took over the leadership of the Standing Committee on European Integration Issues, dissatisfaction with the government became evident in the pro-European field as well. Many figures working with European structures and financed by European programs are already criticizing the CP without previous caution, and in some cases even openly mocking and ridiculing the government's actions.

It turns out quite a telling picture. Moscow does not trust Pashinyan, considering that he is leading Armenia to Europe, and the pro-Europeans are unhappy that the government does not consistently implement the declared European path. In short, Pashinyan's multi-vector policy has reached a point where he has managed to disappoint both Russia and Europe. And the economic price of those political maneuvers is ultimately paid by Armenia, the RA economy manager and the citizen who pays dearly for everything every day." Details in today's issue of "Zhoghovurd" daily newspaper.
