Former NA deputy Tigran Abrahamyan referred to the fake "trial" initiated by Baku against the military-political leadership of Artsakh. Abrahamyan noted:
"The appeals court of Azerbaijan has left unchanged the decision of the court of first instance, which imposed heavy penalties on our compatriots in Baku prisons.
In his phone call, Davit Ishkhanyan, the former speaker of the National Assembly of Artsakh, who is in prison in Baku, described in general terms the whole nature of the ongoing circus and the chain of violations, under the conditions of which no other decision was expected.
Ishkhanyan emphasized that not only were their speeches not covered, but the court unnecessarily and illegally interrupted or left them unfinished during the trial.
According to the latter, in the Baku court, our compatriots defended the past and present of the Armenian people and did not allow an attack on our national dignity and nationwide interests.
Freedom to all Armenians in Baku prisons."
