The President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Petra Bair, congratulated Ruben Rubinyan on the occasion of his election as the President of the RA National Assembly, wishing him success in fulfilling his responsible mission.
In his message, he praised the National Assembly's commitment to PACE work, emphasizing that Ruben Rubinyan's long-term involvement in the assembly, including as vice-president and head of the RA NA delegation, creates a solid foundation for the further strengthening of effective bilateral cooperation.
Petra Bair reaffirmed PACE's continued support and willingness to closely cooperate with the National Assembly of Armenia in order to promote common values of democracy, human rights and the rule of law. He also noted that he is looking forward to Ruben Rubinyan's participation in the European Conference of Speakers of Parliaments to be held in Rome in October of this year, as well as the continuation of the excellent cooperation formed.
