US President Donald Trump has announced that Washington and Tehran are continuing negotiations, despite earlier reports that they have been suspended.
To the journalist's question whether the negotiations with Iran are currently suspended, Trump answered that they are ongoing.
"They are going on right now. This is an amazing thing. This time they don't deny it," the US president said.
According to Trump, the negotiations are taking place at the request of Iran, with the support of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and other countries.
"This is their last chance to sign a good document," he said.
Trump noted that the discussions can end quickly. According to him, the parties first discuss the issue of the complete opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and then Iran's nuclear capabilities.
