"At tomorrow's European Council meeting, Italian Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi will present a proposal to create new centers for illegal migrants, which will be based on the Albanian model, but will be financed by European funds, and almost all of them will be located in Africa," the source reports.
Publications note that the initial list of countries where such centers may be opened include Rwanda, Ghana, Senegal, Tunisia, Libya, Mauritania, Egypt, Uganda, as well as Uzbekistan, Armenia, Montenegro and Ethiopia.
According to the city authorities, about 80,000 migrants entered the city of Ceuta on the coast of Africa. According to various Spanish media, more than 70,000 have already returned. More than 80 people died trying to reach the Spanish enclave.
