A possible new military action against Iran by the US and Israel will have consequences, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced in a telephone conversation with Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Mehr reports.
During the conversation, the parties discussed bilateral relations, the latest regional and international events, as well as the ongoing tension surrounding the actions of the US and Israel.
Araghchi stated that Tehran is ready to defend its sovereignty, territorial integrity and national security. According to him, any new attack by the USA and Israel, as well as the participation of the countries of the region in such actions, will receive a "decisive and proportionate response" from the Iranian armed forces.
The minister also emphasized that the initiators will be responsible for the possible consequences of such steps.
