Major General Ali Abdullahi, Commander of the Central Staff of the Iranian Army "Khatam an-Anbia", stated that Muslim countries are required to show "foresight", follow the steps of the US in the Middle East and review their cooperation and interaction with Washington.
According to him, the US is "accelerating the course of large-scale escalation of the regional conflict" with the aim of establishing "illegal rule" in the Middle East. Abdullahi accused Washington of being ready to resort to any means to achieve its own goals during the latest war against Iran.
The Iranian general noted that the states of the region provide the US with their financial resources, infrastructure and strategic capabilities. They are later used as a "shield" for the American armed forces, while strengthening Israel's military potential.
According to Abdullahi, Iran, together with its armed forces and allies, has proved that "the balance of power in the region has changed." He declares that the inability of the US to achieve its goals has forced American troops and Israel to carry out combat operations from "the territory of Muslim countries", complicating the consequences of the conflict on the governments and currents of the region.
"Any country that becomes a defensive shield for the United States will burn in the flames of war," the commander said.
He called on the states of the Middle East to carefully follow the actions of Washington and to review the cooperation with the United States.
