The US intends to try to restart the negotiation process between Ukraine and Russia in the coming weeks, the US Secretary of State announced on Fox News. According to Marco Rubio, the American side will make diplomatic efforts to clarify the possibility of the parties returning to the negotiating table.
He noted that the hard red lines of the parties to the conflict prevent reaching an agreement.
"We also understand that both sides have pretty clear red lines, and until we manage to bring those red lines a little closer, we will not achieve the desired result. But we are ready for it," Rubio said.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced that the Presidents of Russia and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky, want to sign a deal on ending the conflict, but it will require concessions from both sides.
