The United States may strike this weekend on an alleged new Iranian nuclear facility near Natanz, which is believed to be hidden under Mount Kolang Gaz-La, CNN reported, citing its sources.
The scale of the planned attack and the list of targets are still not completely clear, but the US military is ready to strike both Iran's energy and nuclear facilities. However, the US administration fears that if Iran's energy infrastructure is bombed, Tehran could retaliate against the Persian Gulf countries and cause further disruptions in the global energy market, CNN reported.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Esmail Baghai, previously stated that US President Donald Trump's claims about Iran's alleged new nuclear facility are baseless, and Washington's obsessive attention to Kolang Gaz La mountain, where no nuclear activity is taking place, is nothing more than a fabricated pretext for aggression, destruction and sabotage.
