The US Senate agreed on tough sanctions against Russia

US senators have agreed on a bill providing for new sanctions against Russia and Iran.

US senators have agreed on a bill that would allow Donald Trump to impose tariffs of up to 500% on Russian goods, as well as additional 100% tariffs on countries that acquire Russian energy resources.

According to Bloomberg, the Senate can pass the document this week, but because the House of Representatives is on vacation, it will not take effect until September.
