As stated by the authorities of the Islamic Republic and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we are making decisions with Oman regarding the security of the Strait of Hormuz and the regime of passage of ships through it," the diplomat said.
"Compensation for crossing the strait and their cost are the subject of our negotiations. A decision on these issues will be made in the future," he added. Earlier, the Iranian ambassador in Moscow told TASS that Tehran will maintain the special regime for the passage of Russian ships through the Strait of Hormuz.
