The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced that the Ukrainian defense forces have carried out repeated attacks on a number of military and strategic facilities located on the territory of Russia, including the Tyumen oil refinery, a military facility in the Kirov region, the Yekaterinburg logistics center, and the Don Rostov fuel and lubricant plant.
Zelensky wrote on his Telegram platform: "Yesterday evening, our defense forces struck targets in various regions of Russia that contribute to this war, adding that the Kirov target is located about 1,200 km from the Ukrainian border and supplies components for Russian weapons." He attached videos of fires in industrial facilities to the post."
Earlier, Tyumen Governor Alexander Moore announced the attack on the Tyumen oil refinery, and the Wildberries company confirmed that a drone struck a parking lot adjacent to its logistics center.
At the same time, the governor of Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, reported that four people were killed as a result of the attack on Doni Rostov. According to him, residential buildings, private houses, multi-storey buildings under construction, commercial facilities and warehouses were also damaged.
As for Kirov, the governor of the region, Alexander Sokolov, reported only one attack that took place on the night of July 24. Official information about the second strike has not been published. According to him, five people were killed and more than 30 were injured as a result of that attack.
