US President Donald Trump has confirmed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit Washington next week.

"Netanyahu will be in town next week," the American leader said at the White House Correspondents' Association reception on Friday. The office of the Prime Minister of Israel previously announced his upcoming visit to the USA.

Netanyahu will leave for the United States on Monday, July 27, and is scheduled to meet with Trump at the White House on Tuesday, July 28, the office said. During his visit to the US, Netanyahu will also attend the funeral of Republican Senator Lindsey Graham.
