Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claims that the Jordanians provided Tehran with information about American bases in order to carry out strikes. Earlier, the IRGC reported that the Iranian army fired ballistic missiles at the C-17 and P-8 aircraft of the US Air Force at the Aqaba airport in the south of Jordan.
"We thank you for your sincere cooperation and reliable information. this allowed our military to accurately identify the target and hit 20 hangars of the Al-Azraq American base, killing dozens of American servicemen," the press service of the IRGC said in a statement.
On July 8, US President Donald Trump announced that the ceasefire signed with Iran on the night of June 18 is no longer valid. Since July 8, the US military has carried out several attacks on Iran.
