Two police officers were arrested in connection with the murder that took place 3 years ago. RA Investigative Committee informs about this.
According to the CC, as a result of the large-scale investigative and operational operations carried out within the framework of the criminal proceedings under investigation since August 7, 2023, it was found that RA MIA police officers A.S. and A.G., using their official powers, assisted in the murder and attempted murder.
According to the investigation, the police found out the location of the victim A.H. and informed it to the accused A.S.
According to the CC, they, together with the accused and unidentified persons, participated in the removal of obstacles during the pursuit of the victims.
The incident took place in Yerevan, in the Romanos Melikyan dead end of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district. According to the investigation, the accused A.S. fired shots, as a result of which Ar.H. died, and his brother, A.H., received life-threatening injuries.
A public criminal prosecution was initiated against 2 policemen under the article of aiding the murder of other persons in a life-threatening manner by a group of persons, with selfish motives.
AS and AG were arrested to be brought to court.
The investigative committee continues to find out all the circumstances of the case.
