The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, the elite unit of the Iranian armed forces) has announced the successful launch of strikes against US military facilities in Kuwait.
"The drones attacked the ammunition depot in the Al-Udeir camp, the headquarters building and the ammunition depot of the Ali al-Salem Air Base, as well as several communication centers in Kuwait," NourNews reported. The IRGC also reported successful strikes on US military facilities in Jordan.
"The drones also hit fuel tanks at the Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan," the agency reported.
It is noted that Al-Azraq, due to its location, infrastructure, military equipment and significant investments made by Washington, is considered one of the main US bases in the region.
