The university did not extend the employment contracts of long-time lecturers of the Faculty of International Relations, doctor of political science, professor Khachik Galstyan and candidate of political science, associate professor Alen Ghevondyan.

"The university did not extend the employment contracts with two more lecturers of our faculty: associate professor Alen Ghevondyan and professor Khachik Galstyan.
The court proceedings against Khachik have been going on for more than six months, and against Allen for about a month. This was not unexpected, but at the same time it was a painful and disappointing decision.
For more than 20 years, these people have been the flag bearers of our faculty, enjoying the respect of colleagues and the love of students. They really earned it.
I am also honored to be their friend.
My condolences to my and my family's old friends. Justice will be restored," he wrote.
