According to Iran's state broadcaster, three foreign tankers tried to pass through the Strait of Hormuz without Tehran's permission, but the Iranian Navy stopped them and forced them to change direction.
According to the broadcaster, the tankers tried to pass through the strait using the southern corridor, but returned to the Persian Gulf after receiving warnings.
On June 25, Iran's Persian Gulf Authority announced that it cannot guarantee the safety of ships traveling outside the routes defined by Tehran.
