In Anchorage, the Americans presented initiatives for the settlement of Ukraine, and Moscow accepted them, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said. He commented on the statement of the Secretary of State Marco Rubio that the parties did not reach final agreements during the meeting held in August of last year.
"When my colleague says that in Alaska there were only proposals but no agreement, I wonder what we mean by agreement."
"If one party, in this case the United States, presented proposals to the table, and the other party agreed, then to say that there was no agreement seems rather ungrateful," the minister noted.
