Israel has announced that it will not withdraw its forces from South Lebanon until "Hezbollah" is disarmed.

"We will not withdraw our forces from South Lebanon until Hezbollah continues to be a threat and is disarmed and demilitarized," Israeli government spokesman David Menzer said during a press conference.

The announcement was made in the background of the ongoing negotiations between Israel and Lebanon with the mediation of the United States in Washington.
