Iran has granted a 60-day grace period for further negotiations with the United States. During this time, Tehran will not demand payment for safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, Fars news agency reported, citing a source.
According to him, after these 60 days, Iran intends to provide security, shipping, environmental protection and insurance services to use the financial income from the traffic of commercial ships in the strait for the economic development of the country.
The source of the agency added that these services will be provided to the ships by both Iran and Oman.
