On May 27, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan received the delegation led by Stefan Blechschmidt, director of the German Thuringia Development Association (LEG Thüringen). I can state that the cooperation between the two countries in a number of fields is already based on high quality, which is a good basis for further deepening of economic cooperation," the minister noted. During the meeting, Gevorg Papoyan briefly presented the current state of Armenia's economy, the state policy implemented in the sector, the favorable investment environment created in the country, as well as the support tools provided to companies. Possible branches of cooperation and the possibility of holding an Armenian-German business forum were discussed. The minister offered German companies to consider the possibility of starting their business in Armenia. The meeting continued in a question-and-answer format. The "Crossroads of Peace" project and the opportunities provided by its implementation were also presented.
