A powerful X-class flare has occurred on the Sun

On November 6, an X-class flare was recorded on the Sun. This was reported by TASS, citing the Institute of Applied Geophysics.

According to Russian scientists, the phenomenon was discovered at 16:40 Moscow time. The X2.4 flare was recorded in the X-ray band in the group of 3883 spots (S08E13. Its duration was 32 minutes. This is already the second flare of the highest class in November.

Six M-class flares were also observed on the Sun on Wednesday. The strongest of them, M 5.9, was registered at 12:00 Moscow time. It lasted six minutes.
