The Washington administration believes that the resolution of technical issues related to Iran's nuclear program and the possible easing of restrictions against it will take time. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced this.
"Nuclear negotiations are very complicated and mostly technical," he said during the hearings of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, talking about the negotiations with Iran. "Therefore, it will take some time to work on all this. By the way, like the sanctions, they are mostly of a technical nature and in many cases multifaceted. There are UN sanctions and there are U.S. sanctions approved by the U.S. Congress, so there's still a lot to deal with."
Rubio discussed the possibility of easing restrictions on Iran if Tehran meets Washington's demands regarding the Iranian nuclear program.
