As part of the judicial and anti-corruption reforms implemented in Armenia, an institute of good conduct was introduced into the system of the RA Investigative Committee. With the amendments and additions made to the RA Law on the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, which came into force on August 5, 2024, the conduct of persons holding autonomous positions in the RA Investigative Committee was fixed. mandatory inspection requirement.

According to it, persons occupying independent positions (investigators) in the sixth year of their position, persons aspiring to be included in the service promotion list, participants who received a positive evaluation as a result of the written examination held for the purpose of filling the list of candidates for independent positions in the Investigative Committee, before the oral stage of the examination, undergo a conduct check. :

According to that, as of October 31, 22 people have already passed the current conduct check in the RA Investigative Committee system.
At present, the conduct of 74 persons holding autonomous positions, as well as another 23 persons holding autonomous positions aspiring for promotion, is being checked.

In November, within the framework of the regular round of the competition already announced in order to replenish the list of candidates for autonomous positions in the RA Investigative Committee, after summarizing the results of the written round, the behavior of the participants who received a positive evaluation as a result of the written exam will also be checked.

"According to the provisions of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, if a negative conclusion of an advisory nature is presented as a result of the current study on conduct by the Prevention of Corruption Commission, an official investigation is necessarily initiated.
