China is ready to continue to play a constructive role in the political settlement of the crisis in Ukraine, China's permanent representative at the United Nations, Fu Kong, said.
"China's position on the Ukrainian issue is objective, impartial and consistent. Guided by the principles put forward by President Xi Jinping, we have always been in favor of peace, dialogue and humanity," the diplomat noted.
We strongly support the cessation of the conflict and the achievement of a political solution, and together with the international community, we have made significant efforts to advance the peace talks," Fu Kong added.
