Hasmik Hakobyan's claim of importing wheat "directly from Azerbaijan" is wrong. "People"

According to "Zhoghovurd", MP Hasmik Hakobyan of the "Civil Agreement" faction of the National Assembly told "Hetk" that wheat is imported to Armenia "directly from Azerbaijan", and after a clarifying question, he again remained on that statement.
SRC informed the periodical that in 2024-2026 in the data of the imported wheat of the FTA AA 1001, Azerbaijan is not mentioned either as an exporter or as an origin. In 2024, 314,538.4 tons were imported, in 2025 - 332,294.8 tons, and from 01.01-04.05 of 2026 - 77,226.4 tons. Later, Hasmik Hakobyan clarified that the word it is about cargo transit through Azerbaijan and Georgia, which is different from the original wording.

"Zhoghovurd" notes that official data do not confirm the claim of importation "directly from Azerbaijan".
