"Last week at the meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani businessmen in Aghveran, according to some reports, the main issue discussed was how to overcome the obstacles to the import of Armenian products from Russia with the help of Azerbaijan, or rather, to fill the gap and sell Armenian products in the Azerbaijani market. As is known, due to the anti-Russian policy of Nikol Pashinyan and the administration, Russia has created certain obstacles for Armenian businessmen, the import of a number of products has either been stopped or the volumes have decreased, it is expected that in the near future, these restrictions will become more large-scale, especially after Zelensky's visit.
Therefore, in order not to turn Armenian businessmen against the government, Pashinyan decided to win their hearts and called for help to Ilham Aliyev, who should reduce our dependence on the Russian market and the risks of spoiling relations with Russia.
Naturally, in return, Aliyev will extract political concessions from Nikol Pashinyan, but he is not against making new concessions to Azerbaijan, as long as it does not have any contact with Russia. Let's remember that last week Azerbaijan's Deputy Prime Minister Mustafayev arrived in Armenia, led by Azerbaijani businessmen. They had met with some Armenian businessmen in Aghveran under the cover of secrecy.
