On April 28, at 16:02 local time (at 12:02 GMT), the seismological network of the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia recorded a 3.9 earthquake at 40.98⁰ north latitude and 43.10⁰ east longitude in Turkey, 43 km north of the city of Kars, with a depth of 10 km. magnitude earthquake.
The strength of the underground shock in the epicentral zone was 5 points.
The earthquake was felt in the city of Gyumri, Shirak marz, in the villages of Amasia, Zarishat, Vahramaberd and Marmashen, with a magnitude of 2-3.
