The press secretary of the White House, Caroline Levitt, stated that the United States has noticed progress in the dialogue with Iran in recent days.
"The Iranians contacted us and asked to organize a face-to-face meeting. So, the president is sending Steve Wittkoff and Jared Kushner to listen to their proposals," the spokesperson said.
It should be recalled that earlier, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman, Badr Albusaidi, informed that the fifth round of negotiations between Iran and the United States will take place in Rome on May 23.
