Emma Poghosyan, a member of the Armenian women's weightlifting team with a weight of 86 kg, won a gold medal in the European weightlifting championship in Batumi with a result of 248 kg. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of the Republic of Armenia.
In the pull-up exercise, Emma successfully performed all three approaches, holding 102, 105 and 107 kg barbells overhead. In this form, he was third. In the push-up exercise, the Armenian sportswoman once again performed brilliantly, lifting first 132, then 134 and 141 kg barbells and won the gold medal.
Another representative of Armenia in this weight class, Liana Gyurjian, became a silver medalist in the push-up exercise with a result of 135 kg. He is 5th in the duel.
