Tehran believes that the US elections will not affect Iran's economy

Rahim Zare, a member of the budget planning committee of the Mejlis (unicameral parliament), believes that Iran's economy has stabilized and is immune to American sanctions, and the results of the presidential elections in the United States will not have any impact on the situation in the country.

"The economy of our country has reached such a level of stability that no American machinery will be able to affect the market and economy of Iran, as before," said the parliamentarian.ISNA:in an interview with

According to him, any former president of the USA, be it a Democrat or a Republican, has always imposed new sanctions against Iran, so nothing will change this time.

"We have, in fact, neutralized the sanctions of the USA and other Western countries. "The sale of Iranian oil has increased over the past two years, despite the tightening of all sanctions by the US and Western countries," Zareh emphasized.

The European sanctions will also not be able to have a strong impact on Iran's economy, due to the insignificance of trade with European countries, the deputy concluded.
