The choice of an Artsakh citizen is not born of political calculation. It is born from memory, pain and dignity. Today, our society lives in internal realities, on the border between memory and oblivion, pain and indifference. And the Artsakh citizen standing at that border can no longer choose illusions. He saw reality in its most profound and ruthless form.
His choice will not be on the side of comfort, but on the side of truth, when that truth is hard and demanding.
The people of Artsakh will stand next to the force that will be able to restore not only the political system, but also the national psychology. Which will understand that the defeat is not only a loss of territory, but also a disruption of internal faith, and that is where the restoration should begin. Politics, by its very nature, is the art of building a state.
And for a long time, we have replaced that art with management techniques, forgetting that the state is first of all a system of values. The right of an Artsakh citizen to live safely, the right to return to the homeland, and the right to preserve the identity cannot be considered as a political issue. They are the basis of existence. The people of Artsakh will stand next to him who will not perceive "Artsakh" as a past, but as an ongoing responsibility. Who will understand that security is not given, it is built by national will and faith. We are not facing a choice today, but self-recognition. The people of Artsakh are not looking for power.
They are looking for meaning. By doing so, they will stand next to the force that will be able to unite the society not around fear, but around trust, not with fragments of the past, but with a complete picture of the future. Because at the end of the day, the question is clear: we are not choosing political power, but the way we will continue to be.
