"Zhoghovurd" daily writes:
"There is a nervous atmosphere inside the city government of Yerevan. In the CP, they are trying to understand with surveys how to increase the votes of the government in the capital.
That is why the city government has started to work harder with the heads of administrative districts, demanding results, votes, and activity. Where the CP does not have a head of the administrative district, for example, the Republic Party governs, they put their "stronger" ones to work.
"Zhoghovurd" daily learned that in Nor Nork, for example, Arsen Torosyan is responsible. However, this is where the serious contradiction begins within the government.
The municipality is putting pressure on the district heads, and the district heads are justifying themselves one by one, saying that the main reason for voter dissatisfaction in those administrative districts is not their work, but the state of the city.
Their main argument is simple: the potholes in the streets, the disgraceful quality of the asphalt, incomplete and low-quality works have become a reason for targeting, and now they are trying to pay the political price for all this at the expense of the heads of administrative districts.
However, the district heads, in their turn, make it clear that they have no direct connection with the pit, asphalt, and the disgraceful state of road construction.
In other words, a closed chain is obtained. the municipality demands a vote, the district heads retort that the citizen sees potholes and damaged asphalt every day.
As a result, a situation has been created when CP is trying to save its positions in Yerevan not with the results of management, but with administrative pressure. In short, today Tigran Avinyan does not provide a solution to the problem, but is looking for culprits for his own failure."
