The memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran was not signed in Islamabad because of American actions, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said.
"When the Islamabad memorandum was very close, we encountered maximalism, constant changes of terms and the rigidity of our American partners," Araghchi wrote in X.
According to the foreign minister, Iran has been negotiating with the US in good faith and has sent "the highest-level representatives in the last 47 years" to Islamabad.
