Tehran expects a ceasefire in Lebanon and the lifting of the blockade of Iranian assets before starting peace talks with Washington, said Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament.
"Two of the measures mutually agreed upon by the parties have not yet been implemented: the establishment of a ceasefire regime in Lebanon and the lifting of the embargo on Iranian assets before proceeding to negotiations. These two issues should be resolved before the start of negotiations," wrote Ghalibaf on the X social network.
It was reported earlier that the US delegation is going to Pakistan for talks on Iran under the clear instructions of US President Donald Trump. There is still no information about the Iranian delegation's visit.
