As part of Ukraine's security guarantees, Kiev wants to deploy US and European military bases in the country. Vladimir Zelensky told journalists about this.
"If there is an American military base or a joint American-European base in Ukraine, we will face fewer risks," he was quoted as saying by "Obshchestvennoye" publication.
He added that the security guarantees should include Western anti-aircraft systems "in sufficient quantity" and financing of the armed forces of Ukraine. "We agreed that our side will present its vision, and our partners will respond to such a project," Zelensky insisted.
