Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi had a telephone conversation with the commander of the Pakistani army, General Asim Munir. The head of the foreign political department of Iran expressed his gratitude to the government of Pakistan and the general himself for the consistent and effective efforts aimed at ending the war and strengthening peace in the region.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and following the agreed directions. During the negotiations, Israel's violations of the ceasefire regime in Iran and Lebanon were also discussed.
