White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly announced that the United States has lifted the sanctions against Delsy Rodriguez, the envoy of the president of Venezuela, because he is doing an excellent job and cooperating with Washington.
Earlier, the US Department of Finance announced the removal of Rodriguez from the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions list. "As President Trump has said, Delsey Rodriguez is doing a great job and working very well with the United States.
This decision reflects progress in joint efforts between our two countries to promote stability, support economic recovery and advance political reconciliation in Venezuela,” Kelly said, according to Politico.
