Several people were injured as a result of a knife attack in the western German city of Solingen (North Rhine-Westphalia), reports Bild newspaper.
According to the periodicals, a large-scale police operation is currently underway in the center of the city. Law enforcement agencies did not initially reveal the reasons for the operation. However, it is noted that it was a knife attack, as a result of which several people were injured. According to the newspaper, at least one ambulance and one car with the necessary resuscitation equipment are at the scene.
