Ukrainian unit commander stole more than 340 drones

The General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine reported that the commander of a Ukrainian military unit stole more than 340 drones worth $346,500 intended for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. "A scheme to embezzle drones worth more than 15.2 million hryvnias ($346,500) from the Army of Drones project has been uncovered.


It was organized by the commander of one of the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with two civilians," said the statement published on the Telegram channel of the Prosecutor General's Office.


According to the agency, from November 2024 to March 2026, the serviceman decommissioned unmanned aerial vehicles registered in military units and transferred them to their accomplices for sale.
