The WHO office in Tehran was damaged by the attacks on the city


The office of the World Health Organization (WHO) in the capital of Iran was damaged as a result of the attacks on the city. the windows were broken by the impact wave, but none of the employees were injured. This was announced by WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

"During the last two nights, attacks took place around the WHO office in Tehran, the capital of Iran, as a result of which windows were broken," he wrote on his X microblog.

"Fortunately, all the employees of the WHO office in Iran are safe, no one was injured," he wrote.

Ghebreyesus emphasized that such attacks are "unacceptable and must be prevented at any cost" because the locations of the WHO and other UN agencies are well known.
