US Defense Secretary Pete Hegsett stated that the coming days will be crucial for Iran, stressing that Iran has limited opportunities to respond militarily.
According to him, Tehran can continue missile strikes, but the USA is ready to shoot them down. Hegsett also noted that the video published by Donald Trump shows American bombers hitting the Isfahan armory.
He emphasized that Washington expects that Iran will choose the path of negotiations, adding that Trump is ready for an agreement, but in case of refusal, the US will intensify military operations. According to Hegsett, the American strikes are already affecting the fighting ability of the Iranian army, leading to a drop in morale and a shortage of personnel.
"We know exactly what Russia and China are doing. We are dealing with it," Hegsett said.
