Poland has refused to send the Patriot system to the Middle East

Poland has no intention of providing its Patriot anti-missile systems to the USA, the country's Minister of National Defense, Władysław Kosyniak-Kamisz, said. On Tuesday, Rzeczpospolita reported that the US is demanding that Poland move one of its two Patriot batteries to the Middle East.

"Our Patriot batteries and their missiles are used to protect Polish airspace and NATO's eastern flank. In this regard, nothing has changed, and we have no plans to redistribute them anywhere," Kosiniak-Kamish wrote on social networks.

The Minister of Defense added that the United States understands Poland's position.
