SNN reports that two more participants in anti-government protests linked to the Mujahideen-e Khalq (banned in Iran) terrorist group were executed in the Islamic Republic.
According to the news agency, they were found guilty of carrying out grenade attacks against government institutions and making explosive devices. After an investigation, both were sentenced to death for inciting a riot. The Supreme Court of Iran upheld the verdict.
The convicts were hanged on the morning of March 31, the news agency reports. On March 30, Tasnim reported the execution of two members of the Mujahideen-e-Khalq group in Iran for carrying out terrorist attacks.
