Swedish prosecutors have charged a man suspected of selling his wife to more than 120 men, SVT reported on Monday.
"On Monday, in the district court of Angermanland, a man suspected of selling a woman was charged with multiple rapes and aggravated pimping," the statement said.
According to the TV channel, the 61-year-old man has been in custody since October. He is accused of pimping in 2022-2025. According to the investigators, during that time he forced the woman to have sexual relations with more than 120 men. The TV channel also reports that he gave drugs to the woman, as a result of which she became addicted. The man denies the accusations.
